Meet our pack. Spend some time with us
Welcome to our private family home. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by our resident black Labrador and our other guests. Enjoy scenic walks through the surrounding farmland, along streams, and within nearby woodlands.

There’s no need to drive for your walks, simply slip on your collar, grab the lead, and we’re ready to go. After each walk, your dog will be gently dried off and kept warm in a cosy robe. They can then choose their preferred resting spot, unwind, and enjoy chew toys, explore the garden, or indulge in treat-filled lick mats.
​
As the day winds down, we’ll take a relaxing late afternoon walk before supper and a calm, family-oriented evening. Afterwards, your dog will either head home or settle in for a peaceful night’s rest.
Our Story

The Dogs Residence is a fully insured, exclusive, award-winning daycare and home boarding facility for dogs. Licensed by Three Rivers District Council, we proudly received a multi-star rating in our inaugural year.

Our facility offers a warm and stable family environment for our guests. In addition to our resident dog, we also have two older children who are part of the family dynamic.

We remain steadfast in our mission to provide the highest standard of care for dogs, focusing on quality, comfort, and personalisation. Whether for daycare or home boarding, our services are designed to meet the most stringent standards, offering the same level of care and attention we would expect for ourselves.

Hello. My name is Anna-Marie
My passion for animals has been a lifelong journey.
I have a natural affinity with animals, and there is no greater joy than seeing a happy dog. While I share a deep connection with many animals, dogs hold a special place in my heart.

Rest assured, your dog will receive the highest level of care with us.
I take great pride in the ongoing commitment I provide, holding several certifications, including Canine First Aid, Canine CPR, Nutrition, and an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Professional Canine Welfare, among others. I am continually expanding my knowledge and expertise in the field.

The dogs that join us bring immeasurable joy, fun, and unconditional love, and they certainly deserve to receive the same in return.
Why did we open The Dogs Residence
​
While every dog would prefer to be with their favourite companion, there are times when this isn't possible.
Finding the right environment or caregiver can be challenging for various reasons. I have personally encountered this difficulty when family and friends were unable to help especially when our own dog's allergies made finding a suitable holiday home particularly challenging.
In search of a loving and dedicated home setting where our dog would receive the same level of care and attention we give him, we decided to create such an environment ourselves. Thus, The Dogs Residence was born, designed to offer a seamless transition from home to home, ensuring each dog feels loved and cared for, just as they would with their own family. ​​
