Meeting Our Canine Guests
We warmly invite you to visit us by appointment.
Your initial consultation is designed to ensure that The Dogs Residence is the perfect environment for your dog and that it meets every expectation you have for their care and comfort.
Once we feel confident that your dog is happy and at ease, they will be gently introduced to our resident companion and, when ready, to a select group of our other guests. This introduction allows us to observe how naturally they settle into our community.
The process typically takes a couple of hours and includes a relaxed walk to help your dog feel at home. We encourage you to step away during this time, allowing us to build a genuine connection. Upon your return, if both you and we feel it is the right fit, we will provide you with our booking forms along with our terms and conditions to complete your registration.

Your dog's happiness is our utmost priority. Anna-Marie has owned dogs for over 25 years and holds many qualifications in all aspects of Canine well-being and continues her educational journey.

Embark on the exciting journey of staying at The Dogs Residence. Booking a reservation is designed to ensure a seamless experience for both you and your dog, matching their needs with the perfect stay in our home.

When visiting please ensure that your dog meets the following requirements before scheduling their meet and greet.
All dogs must be sociable with other dogs and have participated in their meet and greet session before being considered for a place at The Dogs Residence.

Dogs must be registered with a U.K Vet, possess an up to date vaccination record covering the entirety of their stay and vaccinations must include the Kennel Cough. We also require flea and worming treatments be up to date or administered before arrival. This will be verified during the meet and greet.
Your stay
What to bring along
Feel free to pack your dog’s bed, blankets, toys, and treats. While we encourage you to bring your dog's rain jacket or jumper, we have plenty available should you forget anything. Please note, we do not provide cages or pens.

If your dog follows a dry kibble diet, kindly bring enough food for their entire stay. For dogs on a raw meat or cooked meat diet, we will provide their meals as part of their stay.
Please also bring any medications or flea and worming treatments your dog may require.

For your information, our resident dog has severe poultry allergies, so all treats provided are natural, single-protein, and poultry-free. We also offer vegetable and fruit treats with your consent, all complimentary throughout your dog’s stay.
“If’s, but’s” “Do’s and Don’ts”
We only accept neutered male and female dogs, except those under 12 months of age.
For safety reasons, we do not accept breeds listed on the Dangerous Dogs Register.
We reserve the right to decline dogs who show aggression or behaviour that may cause distress or disrupt the calm environment we maintain for all our guests.
Our priority is a stress-free, positive setting where dogs can thrive. We carefully select guests based on temperament to ensure a happy, harmonious group.
We welcome both puppies and senior dogs and are dedicated to their individual care.
If you’d prefer we don’t share images of your dog online, please let us know. You'll still receive plenty of personal photo and video updates during their stay.
At the end of your stay
Upon departure from The Dogs Residence following an extended stay or holiday, your dog will receive a thoughtful "Thank You" gift as a token of our appreciation.

If your dog's birthday coincides with their stay, we will celebrate the occasion with a specially prepared gourmet meal.

New dogs
When you arrive as a new customer you will need to have completed our Registration form, acknowledging our Terms & Conditions and signed our agreement.
For dogs who have already visited us before please let us know if you require anything different from your last stay and if your dog has had any medical or health changes since their previous visit.

Payment for your dog's stay will also be due before arrival day.
